New Hotel to Join Mixed-Use Development in the District at Eastover

JACKSON, Miss. - June 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Construction has commenced on a new Residence Inn by Marriott, a business-class extended stay hotel, with an expected completion date of March 2016. The hotel is a joint venture between The District Land Development Company, the master developer of The District at Eastover, and InterMountain Management of Monroe, Louisiana.

The four-story Residence Inn by Marriott is part of The District at Eastover, a new mixed-use development located at Interstate 55 and Eastover Drive, in the heart of Metro-Jackson. Located between the city’s major medical district, the Fondren Arts District, and the high-end residential homes of the Lefleur East District, the hotel will feature 95 spacious suites with separate sleeping and living areas. The one- and two-bedroom configurations are perfect for business travelers or families who prefer added comfort in an amenity-rich urban environment. Each suite will feature a sitting area, business desk with ergonomic chair, and complimentary wi-fi with high-speed Internet. The announcement of the Residence Inn by Marriott is the most recent for the District at Eastover.
