Sweet Bennut® Offers Vegan and Healthy Candy

STUTTGART, Germany - June 6, 2015 - PRLog -- A newly established family business based in Stuttgart, Germany, Sweet Bennut®, has announced the launch of its delectable and healthy, vegan candy.

Explains the CEO of the family run company: “We love candies but also value our health and fitness. As two of us are medical students, we wanted to create a candy which is healthy and vegan so we researched various ingredients and finally developed a special recipe for our Sweet Bennut® range. Our aim is to offer people an alternative to other candies which are packed full of sugar. Now you can enjoy a sweet snack with a clear conscience.”

He further added, “Our main goal at this stage is to open a shop in Germany where we will produce, sell and expand our Sweet Bennut® range. Long term, we aim to establish an online shop to make our healthy, vegan candies available to customers worldwide.”

Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds and peanuts, grape syrup and flour are the main ingredients used in the production of Sweet Bennut®’s candy. The candy is shaped like a sausage with a fruity sweet coating wrapped around the crunchy, nutty kernel.

Not only is it full of flavour but Sweet Bennut®’s candies are packed with nutrients. Nuts are a great snack and have been linked with better heart health, improved weight control, and lowered cholesterol. Grapes are packed with anti-oxidants and offer even greater health benefits, such as reduced blood pressure, and a lowered risk of heart disease and some cancers, as well as helping prevent allergies.

The candy is completely vegan and contains no gelatin or any other supplement of animal origin. All ingredients sourced by the company are certified Fair Trade. Sweet Bennut® is committed to buying only from suppliers who comply with an eco-friendly ethos.

The company has created a Kickstarter campaign to help raise the funds it requires to purchase ingredients, and cover production, distribution and packaging costs.
