June 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Johnstown, Colorado: Throughout the month of June, Sheepdog Apparel will be donating 10% of their sales toward a fund established for two State Troopers and their families. On May 23 2015, both Cadet Trooper Taylor Thyfault and Trooper Clint Rushing of the Colorado State Patrol were struck by a feeling vehicle while assisting with a crash investigation. At 21 years of age, Taylor Thyfault saved the life of a tow truck driver at the scene but lost his life when struck. Clint Rushing was severely injured and remains hospitalized, facing a long road to recovery.

“As a Northern Colorado business and as members of the Northern Colorado Law Enforcement Family, it is important to us that both Taylor Thyfault and Clint Rushing are held up as the heroes and Sheepdogs that they are.” said a Sheepdog Apparel representative. “We will be donating 10% of all sales within June toward a crowdfunding campaign established by the Flying Wheels Foundation. The campaign is dedicated to these state troopers who were injured by a fleeing criminal motorist. All donated proceeds will go toward the troopers and their families.”

Sheepdog Apparel is dedicated to designing and printing casual wear for members of the law enforcement, military, and first responders. These people, the company, believes are the true “sheepdogs” of society. As quoted from the Sheepdog Apparel website, “They are our front line. They are our first, and sometimes our last defense. Our neighbors, our friends, our brothers, our sisters.” The Sheepdog Apparel line includes hoodies and tshirts for both men and women. A clever logo of a sheepdog over the American flag with the words “Sheepdog - We got this.” is shown on many of the clothing items. The men’s and women’s t shirts feature memorable quotes on the upper back such as “Real Super Heroes Don’t Wear Capes”, “Sleep in Peace, We Got This”, and “The Lord is My Shepherd. I Just Help Him Out.”
