Lee Ermey, actor and former U.S. Marine Drill Instructor, brings family to see all the dramatic changes inside and outside their house with support from Nissan North America, LH Licensed Products, Inc., OmniMount, and Croscill Home (POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – PR LOG – June 4, 2015) It’s down to the wire as the mission deadline to renovate the house of injured veteran and Purple Heart recipient 1st Lt. Robert Keefe, Jr., his wife Bianca and their three children approaches. Tune in to this heart-warming fourth and last episode of “Designing Spaces of Hope - Military Makeover” presented by Nissan as it concludes with the “Big Reveal” airing on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime® TV. The 4-part Military Makeover series, which chronicled the step-by-step renovations inside and outside the house, had a mission to give back to a deserving veteran who sacrificed so much for our country. Our hero, Lt. Robert M. Keefe grew up in Okeechobee, FL, met his wife there, and decided to enlist in the Marine Corps. Lt. Keefe was deployed in Afghanistan and served as a Platoon Commander. His Humvee hit an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) right under his seat, causing severe spine injuries, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and memory loss. Designing Spaces® teamed up with valuable partners who provided generous donations during the project to accomplish the mission of making a difference and creating a safer and more comfortable home for the Keefe’s: - Keeping the Keefe’s Valuables Safe - LH Licensed Products, Inc. Having peace of mind and knowing that their valuables are safe and protected in the home is a top priority for the Keefe’s. What better way to keep firearms safe, both out of the hands of thieves, children or others who may not know how to use one, than a safe place to keep them? That’s where Bob Mosbaugh from LH Licensed Products steps in to show how several items, including a long gun safe and a waterproof fire file chest can help protect the Keefe’s valuable contents. He’ll also explain the importance of keeping firearms locked up and stored safely especially with minors in the home as well how responsible adults experience the convenience and ease-of-use in programming and operating the digital locks. With TV screens larger than ever, they pose a potential tip hazard, especially around kids and pets. Brandon Stangl from OmniMount joins Military Makeover to discuss why it’s important to mount your TV to the wall to avoid accidental tip-overs and household injuries, as well as to improve sound and picture quality. “Sometimes people assume that a product like a TV wall mount is all about utility,” said Stangl. “The beauty of the OE120IW in-wall mount is that it offers the safety and functionality of a wall mount while also complementing the look and style of a space.” The sophisticated, full motion OE120IW TV wall mount is used in the Keefe home. It recesses between two wall studs for a flat-to-the- Also integrated in the home is the OmniMount Case, Wall Mount and Adjustable Stand for iPad which improves the safety and usability of an iPad as it gets used and moved from room to room.
