TORONTO - June 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Canada’s Exco Levi continues to break barriers with his music.  From making history with Canada’s coveted JUNO Awards (for which he has won Best Reggae Recording 4 times consecutively), to being one of the first to tour Europe extensively, and now adds music in film to his list of impressive historic accolades.

CAMELION, produced by Josh Ary and directed by Reza Dahya is a film about a group of undocumented workers who live together in an apartment in Toronto who face experiences of trying to survive which is juxtaposed by one member of the group who is from Ireland while the rest of the group are people of color.  Of the hundreds of songs included in Exco’s discography, both producer and director chose his 2015 JUNO Award winning song “Welcome the King.”

Speaking from his recording studio in Toronto, Exco shared “I am happy to have my music included in the film CAMELION.  The storyline is something I’m a little familiar with which is coming to a new country and trying to make it.  I can’t wait to see the movie to know if their outcome is like mine!”

The screening for CAMELION will be June 9th at 7:30 pm the TIFF Bell Lightbox which plays host to the Toronto International Film Festival.  “Welcome the King” is featured during the lead scene.

“Welcome the King” was produced by Queens, New York based producer Kheilstone Music and engineered by Exco Levi for High Priest Records.  Exco Levi’s album, Country Man is distributed by Pacific Arts & Music / Warner Music Canada and is available on iTunes and all leading digital retail outlets.  Exco will be on tour from June to September across the Western United States, Europe and Canada.
