WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - June 3, 2015 - PRLog -- In a press conference held this morning, AML Wrestling Management announced today that they had reviewed the controversial finish to the 4-way Championship match held on May 28, 2015.

"Myself and 3 other members of the AML Wrestling Management Team spent the past 10 days reviewing the footage from the 4-way Championship match held on May 24 between Caprice Coleman, Vordell Walker, King Shane Williams and Zane Dawson. While we looked at footage from all camera viewpoints, the one we concentrated on was the one which had the same viewpoint as Referee Jeff Bunton, said AML owner Tracy Myers. "If you saw the match, then you'll recall that Zane Dawson hit referee Jeff Bunton with a lariat that seemed as if were intended for Caprice Coleman. That knocked Bunton flat and he rolled out of the ring and onto the floor.  George South Jr then jumped on the apron and hit Dawson with a roll of nickels.  Coleman covered Dawson, and a woozy Bunton rose to his feet to make the three count."

The controversy came because at the same time Bunton was making the three count on Zane Dawson, King Shane Williams was pinning Vordell Walker on the other side of the ring after a piledriver.  Bunton ONLY SAW ONE PIN, and awarded Coleman the match and the title.

"Yes, it was apparant that Vordell Walker was also pinned by King Shane Williams at the same time that Dawson was pinned by Coleman," said Myers. "However, the match footage seems to show that Vordell Walker was distracted by George South Jr entering the ring area which gave King Shane Williams the unfair advantage he needed to hit Walker with a piledriver. It is our opinon that Bunton did what he was supposed to do. He counted the fall that he could see due to his view of Williams and Walker being obstructed by Coleman and Dawson. Therefore, we uphold the decision of Referee Jeff Bunton to award the match and the Championship to Caprice Coleman. AML Wrestling is proud to have Mr Coleman represent our company."

In closing out the press conference, Myers announced that both Walker and Williams would have another shot at the the Championship during a 3-Way Elimination Match against Caprice Coleman at BULLETPROOF on Sunday, June 25, 2015 in Winston-Salem, NC. Tickets start at only $5 each and are on sale NOW at http://www.AMLWrestling.com
