Follow on Google News | Middlesex University to launch integrated brand campaign through SpinnakerBrand campaign to use OOH and online to reach undergraduates
By: Spinnaker London The campaign taps into contemporary research findings, which have demonstrated a notable shift in the factors influencing a student’s choice of university. In addition to a more exhaustive and contemplative decision-making process, students now place an increased importance on: Potential career opportunities High employability rates The potential for fulfilling life experience while enrolled at the university. The campaign embraces these key insights and aims to highlight the individual merits of key courses within the campaigns overarching identity. To create the campaign Spinnaker used a combination of bold, strong, language which taps into the individual student’s hopes, dreams and aspirations. The campaign also introduces the university as ’MDX’ – a moniker commonly used in internal communications which will, it is hoped, now permeate the lexicon of potential students too. Rob Goldsmith, Managing Partner at Spinnaker (http://www.spinnakerlondon.co.uk) said: “We deliberately made the campaign visually striking and contemporary as this imagery reflects the University itself, and differentiates it from other universities which are advertising currently.” Lucy Everest, Marketing Director, Middlesex University said: “Spinnaker really impressed us with their bold creative, and we are confident that the new campaign will help persuade undergraduates to re-discover all that Middlesex has to offer.” The OOH activity will be positioned around local schools and on roadside sites in the London area. Online display banners will target prospective students when they are carrying out research. The campaign will also be featured on social media platforms through promoted posts and tweets, along with Google PPC. The online launched on 25th May with 6 and 48 sheet poster sites going live from 1st June.
