United Earth Federation,

The United Earth Federation is a new independent sovereign nation. The UEF is a free country and according to the Montevideo Convention we are free to conduct official government business as we see fit. We are only on the internet for now but we do hope to have our own physical land in the future.

We are at a serious turning point or crossroads, if we work together as one we can work through it as we transition into a type one civilization. As technology advances, so does the danger we face. With international terrorism on the rise, nuclear weapons armed by hostile nations, weapons of mass destruction available on the black market to the highest bidder, we must work together now to safeguard ourselves, children, family and each other. We must work together and create a future that we envision for ourselves and for future generations.

We can only continue to strive if we work together as one, instead of as 193 or so independent nations. That is 193 different governments, military organizations, research organizations, science organizations, etc... If we merge together as one, we can achieve wonders. We can create a future as seen on Star Trek, without a World War 3. Although that show may be fiction, as one nation we can inhabit other planets, we can travel the stars in starships, we can conquer world hunger, we can eliminate homelessness, we can eliminate a need for war and achieve world peace.

Together we can do anything we put our minds too. But apart as we are now, we may end up blowing each other up because our President's, Prime Minister's, Chancellor's and other heads of government have a petty disagreement or because they refuse to take action against those who wish to destroy us. We want to achieve world peace but before we can do that we must navigate our way through a few speed bumps and transition into a one world government. A United Nations with power and with a voice that does more than just condemn or support. Only together can we do the impossible and that is why the President of the United Earth Federation today, declares our Independence.
