America’s CMO ~ Chief Motivation Officer Announces “The Walk for America”:"America's CMO ~ Chief Motivation Officer," Kevin L. McCrudden announces "The Walk for America" and his plans to walk across America from July 4th from Battery Park in Manhattan to Los Angeles for Labor Day, September 7th.
After 9-11-01, Kevin L. McCrudden became the only motivational and leadership speaker in America to EVER have a day of recognition passed by The United States Congress. On December 18, 2001, Congress passed H. Res. 308 making January 2nd National Motivation & Inspiration Day. “After 9-11, I saw America’s passion, compassion, empathy and patriotism,” McCrudden, the son of Irish immigrants is continuing his mission to “motivate America” and “motivate and inspire” Americans with “The Walk for America,” which he announced yesterday in his weekly “Motivation Monday©” column where he will be walking from Battery Park in New York City and Ellis Island in New Jersey on July 4th, Independence Day, to Los Angeles, Santa Monica Pier where he hopes to end “The Walk for America” on Labor Day, Monday September 7th. Here is McCrudden announcing “The Walk for America!” on Youtube: https://youtu.be/_ McCrudden states, “The Walk for America is literally for America! To remind all Americans how great our nation is, but more importantly our children and young adults. #BlackLivesMatter, yes, #BlueLivesMatter, yes, but what our children should realize is #AmericanLivesMatter !” He continued, “We have become a society of finger pointers and blaming others, rather than having personal integrity and personal accountability. “The Walk for America” is about motivating and inspiring Americans, mostly parents of young children and young adults to talk about the positives of America, not the negative, but also for ALL AMERICANS! To take responsibility for our life choices and not blame the government or others for where we are in life. To promote all of the positive opportunities in America that people all around the world come to and take advantage of and we as Americans don’t. The “American Dream” is alive and well and we have more immigrants than ever taking advantage of that, but our children need to realize that the “American Dream” is alive and well for them too, not just for immigrants! They just embrace it more, because of where they come from.” McCrudden concluded, “I am the son of Irish immigrants that came to America after World War II, because they believed that America was the greatest country in the world and they instilled that in us. The “K” in my name was given to me, because I was born one month after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. His most famous words have been repeated many times over the past 50 years and yet, not truly embraced; “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country!” So, as “America’s CMO ~ Chief Motivation Officer” what I am doing for my country is “The Walk for America” #WalkforAmerica” McCrudden has invited each of the Governors from each of the states that he will walk through to join him for a moment or two along his walk or greet him as he enters each state or during his journey through their states. (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Nevada and California.) In addition to being President & CEO of Motivate America and the founder of National Motivation & Inspiration Day, McCrudden is the creator of “The American Motivation Awards,” where they honor “motivational, inspirational and patriotic leaders in America. He also has created “I Am America,” apparel, because he wanted to have Americans embrace the fact that we are ALL America. We ARE what makes America great. He states, “We are not only the greatest country in the world, but possibly the greatest nation ever in the history of the world. And yet, we have so much dysfunction, so many people blaming others for what they don’t have and our post 9-11 children have only seen THIS America. NOT the BEST America!” concludes McCrudden. In his book, “Who Are You? Becoming the Very Best You That You Can Be” he makes the most significant addition to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in 60 years, which is considered by many the foundational study on human behavior and motivation. Essentially helping people to embrace how to motivate themselves and become fulfilled, or reach “self actualization.” He even has an audiobook entitled, “Take Action to Make Things Happen!” to help people actually take the steps toward changing their lives and taking action to change their lives, because, as we know, if you do nothing, things probably won’t change much. McCrudden explains that, “because of all of these things that I have created and written, I have positioned myself as “Mr. Motivation” and “America’s CMO ~ Chief Motivation Officer!”. Actually, it was during an introduction at an event that the “Mr. Motivation” tag was born. The woman that introduced me read my bio and a guy in the front row said, he’s Mr. freakin Motivation. So, I made the appropriate adjustments!” McCrudden will be raising money for three military charities: Operation Homefront (http://www.operationhomefront.net/ The Wounded Warrior Project (http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ and Operation Reinvent (http://operationreinvent.org/ And, there is a Go Fund Me page that has been established for “The Walk for America:” http://www.gofundme.com/ Kevin invites any and all youth organizations to meet or greet him as he walks through each state, which can be followed on Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, LinkedIn and other social media. They have invited several corporate sponsors to participate in “The Walk for America” and will release those as details are available. Over the next 4 weeks, there will be more and more details released about “The Walk for America.” For more information you may contact Kevin L.
