GREENWICH, Conn. - June 1, 2015 - PRLog -- The prestigious Greenwich Ballet Academy invites you to attend the 2015 Spring Graduation Gala, presented by GBA artistic director Yuri Vodologa. Two performances – a 2 p.m. matinee and 7 p.m. evening ballet – are planned for June 13 at the lovely Massey Theater, in the Wallace Performing Arts Center of Greenwich Academy, 200 N. Maple Ave. in Greenwich. Tickets are $60 and $40, available now at the GBA website (http://greenwichballetacademy.org/).

The Graduation Gala features pre- professional students performing a unique mix of divertissements during the Chopin Concert. These year’s graduates  include: Celia Volkwein, who will attend Syracuse University; Maria Jose Esquivel, who will attend Boston College;  and Laura Baruch, accepted in the pre-professional program of Kirov Academy of Ballet.

“This is one of the premier ballet events of the year, and we’re honored to share with the community the exceptional talent that we nurture in Greenwich,” said Marisol Rivera Thurman, president and board chairman of the ballet academy. “The Graduation Gala honors the traditions of all of our Greenwich neighbors in their commitment to have a vibrant, high quality arts. Community.  GBA has always ensured that our performances are well rehearsed and produced by industry professionals resulting in a product that always leaves audiences impressed and inspired.”

The gala also features an exceptional silent auction during the intermissions. Guests of the Graduation Gala also may include potential students interested in auditions for Summer Intensive and Fall 2015 programs.

“We invite them and our many supporters to come celebrate with us,” said Vodologa.
