As an original member of the band Boston, Barry Goudreau played guitar and backing vocals for that inconic band and its huge debut and follow up releases that sold over 24 million records. Along with Brad Delp, Boston's original lead singer, Goudreau also had success outside of the band Boston, notably his self-titled debut album featuring the hit song "Dreams". Goudreau is now formely of Boston but is teaming up with Minnesota singer song writer Tim Mahoney, who was featured the NBC TV show "The Voice" and the band Headliner for a series of concerts in MN this month. This first event is sponored by Tonka Pay It Forward, An Annual Minnetonka Community Concert Fundraiser That Has Been Formed By Members Of Our Community To Help Families In Need Of Financial And Personal Support. Tickets are on sale for the benefit concert being held at Cattails Kitchen and Cocktials in Mound MN on Thursday June 25, 2015. Reserved seats are $25 (advance only) and general admission will be $20 at the door ($12 in advance). This 3rd annual Tonka Pay it Forward event will feature not only classic rock hits but also an auction and raffle with proceeds going to Dinomights- A charitable organization giving Minneapolis inner city kids an escape from gangs and crime through the sport of ice hockey.
