TVS Adds TVS Classic Basketball Micro Channel to TVS Nostalgia Network IPTV, OTT, and Mobile Service

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - May 30, 2015 - PRLog -- The TVS Television Network  has launched the TVS Classic Basketball Micro Channel on TVS Nostalgia Network. More than 500 classic basketball games from TVS Television Network and other independent networks will be featured on a free to view, ad supported, video on demand  basis. TVS Television Network was founded in 1960 and for more than 20 years was the top producer of college basketball games on broadcast TV. In the early 1980's, TVS and NBC were partners in presenting college basketball on broadcast TV.

TVS covered virtually every major college conference for college basketball except for the ACC, who was covered by CD Chesley and then Jefforson Pilot. TVS also covered regional games from the NCAA Basketball Tournament before CBS took over full coverage.

The TVS Classic Sports Micro Channel on TVS Nostalgia Network features games from the inception of TVS in 1960 through to the late 1980's. NCAA Regional Tournament Coverage, early NCAA finals, NIT championships, and conference tournaments are all included in the TVS Classic Basketball Micro Channel.

TVS also has dedicated TVS Micro Channels for Football (TVS produced major college bowl games and the World Football League), Boxing, Wrestling, Bowling, and Soccer.
