IHM offers exciting Post-graduation courses for Nurses in Australia!

SYDNEY - May 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The HCI Group (Health Careers International), Australia, a group of organisations committed to quality health education, has as a part of its expansion plans set up the Institute of Health and Management (IHM), Australia. IHM will undertake the delivery of postgraduate courses for nurses.

The HCI Group commenced operations in 2007 and has trained over 5,000 students through IHNA, which is HCI Group’s RTO division. Today, the HCI Group comprises three divisions: The Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA), The Institute of Health and Management and EduSystems Australia Pty Ltd.

The Australian Government agency TEQSA has approved IHM as an Australian Higher Education Provider. The TEQSA panel of expert higher education auditors gave a ringing endorsement that attests to the quality of IHM programs, policies and procedures. In particular they have commended the experience and expertise of IHM staff.

These two accredited postgraduate courses will be launched: Graduate Diploma in Nursing and Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Specialisation - Paediatric Nursing). The first intake for these courses is expected to commence mid 2015. Course delivery for the GDN course is on campus (domestic and overseas via CRICOS), as well as online (for both domestic and international students). The GDN course is available for domestic, offshore as well as overseas (CRICOS) applicants. The GDNP course delivery is online, and the course is presently available for domestic and offshore but not for overseas (CRICOS) students.

The Graduate Diploma in Nursing (Specialisation - Paediatric Nursing) course aims at developing skills and competence in paediatric nursing practice. The Graduate Diploma in Nursing will provide qualified nurses with educational opportunities specific to the advancing role of the registered nurse, thereby facilitating their professional growth and development. However, in order to work as a Registered Nurse in Australia, students need to meet AHPRA requirements.

Students who complete these courses will get an AQF level 8 qualification and gain credit points, and can undertake further Masters level courses at University.
