Luney Tunez born in Shreveport, LA raised in the ATL, discovered his gift of music at the age of ten. He first played the beat to the Luniz hit “I Got 5 on it” while messing around on a keyboardthat was, given to him by his uncle.He continued to utilize his skills in the high school marching band, then with the use of Fruity Loops and other beat making software. With his efforts and countless track submissions, he generated buzz in Atlanta, and found himself on a TI mixtape. Some of his influences include Kilo Ali, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Lil Jon, and The Neptunes.

Because of his drive and tenacity, he got the attention of Block Ent/Bad Boy Entertainment, which landed him a three-year production deal with Block Ent. As he gained street cred in ATL, he climbed his way up the charts, working with big names including Rihanna & Future (for which he earned his Grammy), The Game, Rich Homie Quan & Young thug and the list goes on!

Aside from his numerous accolades and production credits, he also discusses the current state of the music industry, the politics surrounding it, and what he looks for in a music artist. Finally, he talks about his new publicationGrammy Tunez Magazine which is scheduled to drop 4th of July, which will feature some of the biggest names in EDM, K-Pop. The magazine will also feature, Topic, 21, Calvin Harris, and Kendrick Lamar. He will release 6 issues a year available to both the US, and South Korea markets; where Tunez has a very strong fan base.
