June Divorce Seminar Features Valorie Tobin, Attorney and Alternative Dispute Resolution Expert

ATLANTA - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- The next Second Saturday Atlanta Divorce seminar will be held on June 13, 2015, from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at the Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle, Smyrna, GA 30080.

Valorie Tobin has been practicing law for over 25 years and is a partner at Tobin & Tobin where her practice focuses on alternative dispute resolution including mediation, arbitration and collaborative divorce.  She firmly believes that both of these methods are superior to litigation in minimizing the emotional and financial costs of divorce.  “I encourage my clients to consider collaborative divorce and mediation to resolve their disputes, rather than litigation, especially where there is going to be a continuing relationship between the parties, and where children are involved,” says Tobin.

Tobin has been a civil and domestic mediator since 1992 and has served as a mediator in over 800 cases.  She is a registered neutral with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and is a recognized member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the Georgia Academy of Mediators and Arbitrators. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the Georgia Mediators Association, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and the Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia.
