Grammy nominated The Walls Group to Host Live Benefit Concert for Lakelyn Richardson

MOBILE, Ala. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- The Walls Group is coming to the Mitchell Center for a one-night benefit concert for Lakelyn Richardson. This phenomenal event takes place Friday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Mitchell Center located at 5950 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36688. This concert will include guest presenters Felicia Albritton, Janice Moore and Cathe B. It will also feature a special guest performance by gospel legend Paul Porter. General admission is $5 advanced, $10 door. Preferred seating is $15 advanced, $20 door. Floor Seating/VIP is sold out.

The Walls Group released their second album earlier this year under 9-time Grammy award winner, Kirk Franklin’s label Fo Yo Soul Recordings/RCA.  The album is entitled “Fast Forward” and includes major features from artists such as Christian rapper Lecrae and R&B artist Brandy. It debuted at #1 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel chart. “After experiencing The Walls, you won’t be the same. I love seeing family and ministry merge into something powerful,” stated Stellar Award and Gospel-recording artist Jonathan Nelson.

In spite of being Grammy nominated and multi-Stellar Award winners, The Walls Group still believes in giving back to their community and supporters. After connecting with the family of 7 month-old Lakelyn Richardson--who is in dire need of a liver transplant--The Walls Group was moved to step in and be a blessing. With Lakelyn’s family tragically losing their home in a recent fire an in need of financial assistance, a portion of the proceeds from this concert will go to the family to cover her medical expenses.
