KAF Partner Mark Robinson participates in Tour de Cure

BRAINTREE, Mass. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Mark Robinson, a Partner with KAF, one of the leading CPA and business consulting firms in the Boston area, recently participated in the 2015 North Shore Tour de Cure as a member of Team Juicebox Crushers, helping to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association.

The Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes Associations’ signature fundraising cycling event held in 44 states nationwide, with proceeds going toward research to find a cure for the disease that affects an estimated 29.1 million children and adults in this country.

The 30-mile North Shore Tour de Cure, held May 17^th, included the towns of Topsfield and Ipswich.  Captain of Team Juicebox Crushers ride was Robinson’s daughter Sarah, who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes two years ago at the age of 23.  The team is named after Sarah Robinson’s occasional need to drink a juice box quickly to help regulate her blood sugar levels.

“To date, the Juicebox Crushers team has raised $10,000 in the fight against diabetes,” said Milton resident Mark Robinson, whose wife Donna is also a member of the team.  “We are grateful to all who sponsored us during the 2015 North Shore Tour for the Cure and all those who will continue to support efforts to find a cure for a disease that affects so many.”
