Live your interests, with Korrade !

Why should capitalism be involved with nurturing of your life interests ?

May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- It was during the winters in Delhi last year, when I met my friend Atul over the Indian Coffee House (Connaught Place) to discuss a noble idea meant purely to push people, towards living their interests. Ofcourse, what else could bring a man more happiness than getting them closer to experience which lives by only in their imagination. The idea was to build and form a community, formed by people for the people and aimed exclusive towards life interests.

Cut short, we got the wakeup call ! I said, this looks good but how is it possible ? In the times, where capitalism is ruling the sky and society being alienated on the basis of Gender, Caste, Race & Language. Is this possible at all ? Well, after a few coffee drinks I got to see a Facebook post of an known athlete who was training a small bunch of youths to become an athlete like him, and he was putting this entire effort for no monetary returns at all. In a comment, he mentioned "Paisa toh phir kabhi aa jayega, mujhe toh inhe sikhane mein bahut khushi mil rahi hai. Yehi khushi aur dugni hogi, jab yeh bhi ek din meri tarah kissi aurko sikhayenge". This line was the striking point, and the inspiration for Korrade. We wanted to plant a seed of this quality, behaviour, attitude in our citizens mind, which pen-ultimately would lead to form a community of doers, and then finally building a stronger & better society for everyone. where

Learning is accessible for EVERYONE

Talent is showcased to EVERYONE

Capitalism is least for EVERYONE

Society is equal for EVERYONE

After getting the first glimpse through our FB Page, many people say to me, with this thought do you plan to build an NGO. Let me say, definitely NOT. Korrade has a vision, which leaps far beyond what an NGO does and we work for the betterment of "everyone" cause we all are born equal. We don't go by the norms of society & capitalism, neither we are reserved for VIP's or the Under-Privileged.  Our work started with a simple 'Photography' session where we invited only interested people through our personal friend network, and then those people invited their friends for our subsequent sessions where we covered life interests ranging from Acting, Writing, Film-Making, Street Theatre, Languages, Vocal Music, Drawing & much more sessions mentored by people who are expert in their own interests/domains. However, the most eye-catching part of our events is that its FREE. I repeat this often to everyone, its FREE completely. The little-bit of what Korrade is of today, is only because of the goodwill of our mentors & support from our audience/partner organizations. We ideally, want to continue this act of goodwill for the longest possible time, and make a better model of operation with maximum people support. Needless to say within some months, after the inception of Korrade, we now have a better website in lines of a Social Network which is all gearing-up to give you some amazing moments on the Internet e.g. Content Review, Talent Promotion, meeting Like-Minded People etc. Some more surprising offerings, being a Cricket Training program through a BCCI approved Club, a first-of-a-kind Rap Battle events, Speed Cooking events, Fusion Dance Sessions, Health Focus for Youths  & some more out-of-the-box sessions. All such programmes are suggested by our audience through feedbacks & polls and we try our best to make this happen. There is a lot of fun at Korrade, as each time we try to do things in an unconventional format. I personally feel, this is the best way to make your time "productive" atleast once in a week.  Being honest, we don't sell dreams but we as 'Korrade' can surely help you in getting one-step closer to that. As an individual, it depends upon you that how you take it further and how much you help others & guide them. The bottom-line is if you are good at something but you feel the best has not come out from you, then its high time for you to Korrade. Join this small network of doers, and take pride in bringing a change to the society.
