IDEX Sealing Solutions Strengthens Offering by Agreeing to Acquire Novotema

BLACKBURN, U.K. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Blackburn, UK (May 27, 2015) – Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE) announced earlier this month that its parent company, IDEX, has entered into an agreement to acquire Novotema SpA, a global leader in custom elastomer seals and components.  The acquired company will sit alongside PPE and FTL Technology, Leeds to expand the IDEX Sealing Solutions platform and provide customers and markets with a wide range of static and dynamic sealing capabilities.

Located in Villongo, Italy, Novotema designs, manufactures and sells customized seals and other elastomer components across the transport, gas control, building products, industrial and water markets. The company has 160 employees with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of sealing technology.
