Celebrate the end of the school year with Ventura County Fusion soccer

VENTURA, Calif. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Kick off the beginning of summer with the Ventura County Fusion soccer team during a “School’s Out Party!” on Thursday, June 11, at 7 p.m. at the Ventura College Stadium.

Ventura County Fusion will face off against the Southern California Seahorses in an action-packed game that will benefit FOOD Share, Ventura County’s food bank, with a portion of ticket sales.

Ventura County Credit Union will be sponsoring a rally towel hand-out to the first 400 kids in line. 20 percent of the proceeds from the evening of fun will go to FOOD Share.

VC Fusion is a semi-pro soccer club that participates in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division of the Premier Development League (PDL), an official operation of United Soccer Leagues. VC Fusion has won three division titles, reaching the playoffs for six consecutive seasons, and claiming the PDL Championship in 2009.  The club is also a record holder in the renowned United States Open Cup, as Fusion has won a match in each of the last five seasons.

The club also has a non-profit arm that works with 10,000 young people every year through camps where they learn about soccer from an experienced, international coaching staff, as well as the team’s roster of experienced players.

Tickets cost $10 for Adults and $5 for Youths, and can be purchased online ahead of the game at https://nightout.com/ca/ventura.  Presale tickets are sold at a discounted rate.  Tickets will also be sold at the VC Sportsplex box office on the night of the event.  The box office opens at 6pm.
