Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center Website Redesign
BOSTON - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Boston Interactive, a digital marketing agency, is happy to announce the launch of the new Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center (Harvard Street NHC) website, www.harvardstreet.org. For the last 46 years, Harvard Street NHC has been committed to providing comprehensive health care to the Greater Boston community.

Harvard Street NHC came to Boston Interactive seeking a new website that would reenergize their digital presence and reflect the organization’s commitment to the community. The Boston Interactive team identified the need for optimizing user paths on the website to serve the following goals:

1.     Requesting an appointment

2.     Searching for a provider

3.     Browsing open career positions

4.     Making a donation

Since many of Harvard Street NHC’s clients are on-the-go and access information via their smart phones, the new harvardstreet.org was designed with a heavy emphasis on the mobile experience. In order to help the site easily transition from desktop to mobile, Boston Interactive worked with the client to distil the messaging and content of their website. This helped to improve the site’s user experience and enables their visitors to find the information they need quickly.

A news feed was also added to the website homepage, which features various news articles and events to support Harvard Street NHC in building community relationships, while features like “Find A Provider” and “Request an Appointment” help users quickly achieve their goals. The new “Find A Provider” tool uses advanced search filters to help current and new patients easily find doctors that fit their specific needs. Online forms were designed for the “Request an Appointment” feature, which allows patients to quickly request appointments and simplifies the administrative process for Harvard Street NHC team. The new site was built on Drupal CMS to allow for easy integration with other software and updates by the Harvard Street NHC team.

“The Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center website needed a breath of new life,” said Chuck Murphy, Founder and CEO of Boston Interactive. “By combining a modern visual approach with clear and intuitive content, we are thrilled to have a delivered a website that reflects the company’s history and future as a pillar of the community.”

“The entire Harvard Street team is excited to have a state of the art website that will allow our patients and supporter a better opportunity to stay updated on health center events and obtain critical personal information as needed,” said Charley Murphy, CEO of Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center. “The website is a reflection of Harvard Street's commitment to our neighborhood and patients.”
