APP helps raise $23,000 in 1st Regional Ed Tessaro ALS Texas Hold’Em Tournament

TACOMA, Wash. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Associated Petroleum Products, Inc. (APP) is already a large supporter of various community service efforts in the Greater Puget Sound region. More notably, APP largely supports Multicare based in Tacoma, Washington which includes Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital. Other philanthropic efforts include Citizens for a Healthy Bay, Skagit Valley Hospital Foundation, United Way, Goodwill Industries, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to name a few.

The tournament was held at the Embassy Suites in Tukwila, Washington on April 24, 2015. The attendees did not disappoint and were very generous in making this tournament a success. “The support from our suppliers, customers, and business partners were outstanding,” commented Frank Pupo, Jr., APP Executive VP/COO. “Both me and my partner Luke were overwhelmed with the generosity of our sponsors and guests. It will really touch the lives of many individuals that are stricken with this devastating disease.”

For APP it was a new fundraising effort with a poker tournament in which the winner of the tournament won a trip to participate in the 29^th Annual Mansfield Golf Classic at Reynolds Plantation and the ALS Poker Championship at the Ritz-Carlton in Greensboro, GA in June. Mansfield Oil has raised over $4.3 million in 28 years towards helping find a cure.
