Keep Away: Book Three of the Doorway Series by S. M. R. Cooper

LARAMIE, Wyo. - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Looking for an action-adventure story to erase the stress of the day? Author S.M.R. Cooper is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of Keep Away, the third installment in her dark-fantasy series The Doorway.

The Doorway explores the themes of personal responsibility, courage, sacrifice and staying calm under pressure – specifically the pressure of dealing with entities emanating through a supernatural door, accidentally opened by a ... well ... a dork. His twin sister Sara MacGilvey is now called upon to stop this supernatural incursion and to shut the door for good.

In Keep Away, we follow Sara and her partner Del Vaaslo as they start out doing a favour for a friend … and end up trapped inside a dead man’s house with no way to reach the outside world. Stuck in the dark and armed only with a pile of cryptic journals, Sara and her companions find themselves in the midst of a high-stakes power struggle – against people who are very willing to kill for what they seek.

Keep Away will be available on 20 June 2015, on Kindle and in paperback wherever books are sold.

About the Author

S.M.R. Cooper has been writing since she was seven years old. Her work covers a wide range, from poetry and non-fiction, to novels, short stories and children’s books. In addition to Keep Away, she is currently working on an omnibus of “The Jennings” and a children’s book starring the superhero Beneficent Boy; these projects will be making their debut in the summer of 2015.

Her works tend to be action-based, describing characters through their words and deeds and not concerning themselves over-much with, for example, the appearance of clouds.

She makes her home in Laramie, Wyoming, and fills up her spare time with family and friends, kids, cats, and the occasional dog.
