Comedy Hypnotist Don Barnhart Brings Hilarity Back To Colorado

Don Barnhart’s comedy hypnosis show combines his stand up, improv and hypnosis skills to tap into the power of the subconscious mind and use his volunteer’s hidden talents turning them into the stars of a show that is as empowering as it is entertaining.

The best seat in the house is onstage with Don Barnhart as volunteers learn the secrets of hypnosis and come out of the show feeling better then ever and can then practice the same techniques to accomplish their goals, relieve stress or break bad habits.

Barnhart is a regular favorite at the club and tickets sell out fast due to the hilarity and uniqueness of every show. The Don Barnhart Comedy Hypnosis Show turns the audience into the stars of the show as Barnhart taps into the audience volunteer's subconscious mind releasing their inner talents.

Barnhart also specializes in recovery shows and just finished headlining the 31^st Annual Tri State Round Up in Laughlin, NV.  Last year he produced a series of Healing Through Humor Comedy Shows for Solutions Recovery Center in Las Vegas and he continues to headline the Vegas strip, cruise ships, colleges, high schools, fairs and other recovery shows across the country.  Barnhart show is setting record attendance numbers making him America’s Funniest Hypnotist.

Featuring for Barnhart is Charlie McMullen who is originally from Pueblo, CO and has been doing stand up comedy all over the state for the last 4 years, delighting audiences with his frustrated absurdist brand of humor.  He's also garnered a respectable cult following as a cartoonist, having illustrated regularly for PULP magazine and created the comic strips The Men From Cyclopolis and Freaky Deaky (the latter co-created with Justin Morenz), which were published by The Pueblo Chieftain's weekend magazine Beyond The Fold from 2009 to 2012.  He's also a filmmaker and actor, working several times a year with Pueblo's The Impossible Players.

All shows are 21 and over and rated PG and for the more risqué and adventurous, Barnhart will perform the "Dirty Don's Naughty Show" at the Saturday's 10:30pm show.

Barnhart’s film career has really been gaining steam as he is just finishing up production on the cannabis comedy documentary Reefer Rendum http//:www.ReeferRendum.com and is in preproduction on the new comedy film, The Freeloader both written by and starring Barnhart.  Freeloader was inspired by Barnhart’s numerous tours for the troops and is about a returning Veteran who bottoms out and on his way back, he becomes the Robin Hood of the homeless.

Don also plays a rather disgruntled, road weary and carefree comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy and stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny with Brad Garret, Louie Anderson and Wendy Liebman.

The Las Vegas Review Journal named Don Barnhart’s comedy show one of their “Best Bets” and he was one of the featured headliners at the 2014 Laughlin Comedy Festival alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dana Carvey and Maryellen Hooper.

Since his first USO tour back in 1992, Barnhart continues to perform and produce comedy shows for the troops around the world bringing both celebrities and the next generation of comedy superstars to the men and women serving in the armed forces and he just finished another world tour for the troops.  Don Barnhart Entertainment recently produced a series of tours for the troops with comedy legend George Wallace.

Don is also the author of the new book on stand up, Finding Your Funny as well as Creating The Life You Desire and he is a contributing author on I Killed: True Stories From The Road by America’s Funniest Comedians. He is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles and is a certified hypnotist performing both a stand up and comedy hypnosis show.

In his off time, Don is one of the most sought after comedy coaches in the industry and is the founder of the Las Vegas Comedy Institute teaching stand up, improv and comedy writing at his Vegas based studio.
