Afternorth partner with Cashplay and release Game of Words with real cash tournaments

OSLO, Norway - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Afternorth, an independent game studio from Norway have announced their partnership with Cashplay, a monetization platform for skill games that enables game developers and publishers to integrate real money tournaments into their titles.

Afternorth was founded in 2012 with Game of Words becoming their first title that was released in April 2013.  Originally Game of Words was aimed at the Russian market, however now it can be downloaded in five different languages- Russian, English, Norwegian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Game of Wordsis a Scrabble-like word puzzle where the goal is to earn as many points as possible, beating opponents by placing letters on a board to create words. The new “Play for Cash” mode now allows Game of Words players to match their skills with opponents from all over the world and win real cash prizes. Just like other Cashplay powered games, Game of Words features a bonus scheme that allows every new user to play for free and win a cash bonus without having to make a deposit. The winners can then claim their real cash bonus by simply creating a Cashplay account, which takes less than 60 seconds.

In addition, the new Cashplay mode presents a different challenge for the players, as they are meant to come up with as many words as possible in a limited time of 3 minutes in order to win the cash tournament.
