2015 Halloween Costume Photo Contest

ATLANTA - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Film fans are asked to get their costumes and cameras ready for MovieScreams’ 5th annual Adult Halloween Costume Photo contest. Submit your best photographs for a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift card.

MovieScreams.com is launching its 5th Annual Adult Halloween Costume Photo Contest.  Finalist will be featured, the grand prize winner receives a cash prize of a $100 Visa gift card and the “Fan Favorite” winner receives a prize pack of a horror or sci-fi movie pack. Contestants are encouraged to submit JPEG photographs of themselves or friends for consideration via MovieScreams.com. All photos will be uploaded to the homepage of the website and a winner and “Fan Favorite” winners will be chosen from the entries.

MovieScreams.com’s Halloween Costume Photo Contest starts now and ends November 22, 2015, at 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). There is no entry fee. This contest is free to enter.

MovieScreams.com has long been the website to go to for the obscure and forgotten but brilliantly made horror, sci-fi and animated movies, that have been overlooked by the cinema. This website seeks to not only bring these movies and shorts to the public but to highlight them. They also feature artwork, comic strips, photos, and video games some created by the website's creator, which makes this website the website for Halloween.

Six million adults will dress up as a witch this year according to Forbes, however judging from last year's winner and “Fan Favorites” winners, entries will have to take it up a notch to take the grand prize. The previous prize was won by Ashley Playford who donned a Pirate and the Mermaid costume. Some of the “Fan Favorite” winners were dressed up as G1 Optimus Prime, Deacon Dark, and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas just to name a few.

All Hallows Eve is one of America and Canada’s most popular holidays. The National Retail Foundation found that between American and Canadian adults 70 percent of 18-24 year olds, 65 percent of 25-34 year old and 60 percent of 35-44 year olds planned to celebrate Halloween.
