MUMBAI, India - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- In her quest to empower married women in India to dare to dream for themselves and achieve the impossible, Mrs. India 2015 Priyanka Khurana Goyal, recently launched her new initiative of ensuring some interesting workshops for Army Wife Welfare Association (AWWA). In the workshops, Priyanka was seen sharing tips of self-grooming and keeping a more interesting and upbeat lifestyle with the wives of our India Army personnel.

Priyanka will conduct 5-6 more such sessions in Mumbai in different locations and will encourage more women to do well for themselves.

Her first session happened at AWWA compound in Sainik Nagar, Colaba. The workshop also covered topics ranging from diet, parenting to fashion in order to increase a sense of wellbeing among the women attending the workshop.

"It takes a strong heart to become a soldier and it takes an even stronger heart to love a soldier. Soldiers wives are pillars behind their courage. An ordinary citizen without knowing every day is reaping the benefits of their sacrifice and devotion towards the country. We feel safe because they are sitting at the border in harsh conditions for our safety. It is my honour to be conducting a program for all wonderful ladies at AWWA and even if my tips can benefit them a little bit, I would consider myself lucky. This is my extremely little contribution towards doing a service to the people who spend their lives in service to the nation" said Mrs India 2015 Priyanka Khurana Goyal in the introductory speech.

The session was very well received by the ladies.
