COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. - May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- As part of its ongoing commitment to community outreach, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty (DGSIR), one of the nation’s leading realtors, is hosting its 2nd annual Daniel Gale Cares Volunteer Matchmaking event Sunday, May 31st, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. at the Cold Spring Harbor Fireman’s Memorial Park.  Anyone who’s interested in learning more about local charities and not for profit organizations is welcomed.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children along as there will be fun activities and refreshments at the event.  Representatives from close to 20 local charities and not for profit organizations will be on hand so that visitors can learn about what the organizations have to offer, in a casual, waterfront setting, as well as explore volunteer and donor opportunities.

“Cold Spring Harbor is fortunate to be home to a vast array of community services, and art and cultural organizations that contribute greatly to our quality of life,” said Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty President and CEO Patricia J. Petersen.  “Historically, Cold Spring Harbor residents have looked to support these organizations through donations and volunteerism, and this reception provides a terrific opportunity for newcomers and other residents to meet their neighbors and learn more about these important organizations.”
