Producer Ozwald Bozwald Launches Indiegogo Campaign; Raises 5k In The First Two Weeks

NEW YORK - May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- May 20th, 2015, New York, NY:  Ozwald Bozwald has launched a new crowd funding campaign with Indiegogo.  The Harlem NYC-based producer and rapper took to the internet for his latest project, TRANSFORM, asking fans and friends to get involved.  In the fist two weeks, OZ has already raised $5,000 and is well on his way to reaching his goal.  The title for the new EP was inspired by all of the life-changing transformations OZ has gone through in recent years including: becoming a Christian, getting married, adopting a vegan diet, transitioning from hip-hop to EDM music, and getting out of the underground poker scene to become a full-time music producer.  The songs on the new EP reflect the theme of transformation and feature various singers (to be announced soon).  This will be the first project OZ has released that is comprised entirely of EDM music.

Ozwald began his music career as a rapper selling mix-tapes on the streets of NYC.  He quickly transitioned into a hip-hop producer, penning songs for top brands including Coca-Cola, Bacardi, Heineken and TV shows such as Workaholics, Fashion Star, Rob and Big, and ESPN College Football.

“Although I’ve had lots of successes in the past with my music, this time I really need your help to get me to the next level,” says OZ in the video for his Indiegogo campaign.  “All these different transformations over the years have boiled down to this moment, where I’m putting all my energy and all my experiences into this project.”

OZ’s Indiegogo campaign features a variety of exciting perks including custom sunglasses, handmade T-shirts, private Skype call with OZ, recording with OZ, and having OZ cook a vegan dinner for you and your friends.  All of the campaign perks include the TRANSFORM EP.

The goal of OZ’s Indiegogo campaign is to raise $25,000 by June 15th.  In addition to the exciting perks, OZ is also offering “stretch goals” for his fans should the project be over funded.  Some of those goals include: vinyl printing of TRANSFORM for raising $35,000, a 10 city tour for raising $50,000, and for raising $100,000, OZ will handwrite the entire Bible.  That’s right, OZ will transcribe the entire Bible by hand and a documentary will be filmed to show OZ’s transformative process of undergoing such an enormous spiritual task.
