World Boxing Champion Floyd Mayweather Jrs Camp Express Interest In Signing Ed Thoroughbred Williams

LAS VEGAS - May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Ed "Thoroughbred" Williams is currently training with Baha Mamadjonov in Las Vegas at the Mayweather Boxing Club for the Championship Boxing Knockout Night. Floyd Mayweather Jr's camp expressed interest in signing Williams,  Mayweather's camp previously tapped Ed Thoroughbred to train with the IBF Lightweight Champion Mickey Bey on the Mayweather vs Maidana under card. After a successful training camp Williams continued to train for his very own fight adding his ninth win. Ed "Throughbred" Williams believes in staying ready and never breaking camp.

Williams began his career as an amateur fighter with the legendary Kronk Boxing Club. He won the U.S. Open for the state of Michigan title two times and received two National Golden Glove Championships. Williams became a professional boxer in 2008 and remains undefeated In the Jr Welter Weight and Welter Weight division with a record 9-0.

In 2010 he received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Eastern University. Williams Is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Ed "Thoroughbred" Williams is considered to be one of the best pound for pound fighters of this time. He displays an unprecedented mix of speed power and instinct in the ring.
