Memorable fan favorite from The Voice , Beth Spangler, takes an “Audio Selfie”

ATLANTA - May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- “It’s kind of a blessing that I was let go from The Voice when I was. The saddest part was missing all my friends from the show.”

This was Beth Spangler’s common response to all of the sympathetic tweets, posts and interviews she received since being eliminated from the popular reality talent competition show during it’s 7^th Season.

The Aiken, SC native with the bubbly personality and surprisingly strong and wide vocal range, was originally on Team Adam before being saved by Gwen Stefani after a near round 2 elimination.

“I think I received the better end of the deal having had the chance to work with two coaches and two amazing celebrity advisors [Stevie Nicks and Taylor Swift]”, proclaims Spangler.

So what did she do with all of the knowledge and advice she received from her coaches and advisors?  She went straight back to Atlanta, GA where she has been living and working and began putting together her debut EP, “Audio Selfie”.

With veterans such as Grammy winning producer Chris “Deep” Henderson (“Blame it” by Jamie Foxx) and Grammy winning mix engineer Leslie Brathwaite (“Happy” by Pharrell Williams, who also tried to woo Beth onto his team during the show) on her team, Beth increased her odds of releasing a solid project.   And that she did.

“We really took the liberty to explore the different aspects of my style on this EP, hence the name ‘Audio Selfie’.  It shows the different sides of my personality and musical tastes.”

Adam Levine compared Spangler to himself when he said that they were both labeled “genre-less” because of their unique vocal qualities.

Digitally released on May 19, 2015, Audio Selfie spans the genre palette by going from the Dance/EDM laced “Bigger Than Love”, to the urban-Beyonce-esque “Mumble”,  to the vulnerable and bluesy “Can’t Be Counted On”.  Songs like the potential hit, “Like A Bird” and stripped down “Fracture Lines” fit in Top 40 very well.

Closing out the 6 song debut EP is the soundtrack-worthy, spirit-lifting power ballad “Amazing”.  A befitting end to a project that should definitely get the industry buzzing and place Beth Spangler on several “One To Watch” lists.
