Carla Matravolgyi named CEO of AMT USA Corp

May 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Orlando, Fla. – Carla Matravolgyi has been named chief executive officer of AMT USA Corp., a construction design and project management firm based in Orlando.

Matravolgyi, previously the general manager of AMT USA, has headed the rapid growth of the construction firm, generating hundreds of new jobs since the firm opened its doors three years ago.

“We are pleased with our growth rate in our beginning years,” Matravolgyi said. “But there is much work to be done in order to continue developing properties at the highest level, generating jobs and creating new residence and entertainment options for Central Florida.’’

In 2012, Matravolgyi moved to the United States from Brazil after AMT USA’s parent company, AMT Tocantins Ltda., expanded into Orlando. Matravolgyi was selected to head the expansion due to her outstanding track record in project management. Matravolgyi served as AMT Tocantins Ltda.’s business director for four years. She earned her MBA in business management from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in 2008.

Since AMT USA’s opening, Matravolgyi completed residential construction projects in Winter Park, including Village at Whisperwood. She is currently heading the development of a new attraction, The Comedy Club, on International Drive and started luxury short-term rental projects, including Golden Cay Homes, close to Walt Disney World and the attractions.

“We see tremendous potential in Central Florida – especially in developing a new type of short-term rental community that provides families ample living space and the amenities they desire during their visits to America’s number one travel destination,’’  Matravolgyi said.
