Dermal Fillers - Cosmetic Age Defiance Treatment

What Does The Procedure Involve

The procedure is carried out under a day case routine. An initial consultation is important, at the consultation the appointed cosmetic dermatologist would asses the grooves and depth of the wrinkles; asses the skin elasticity; smoking and alchohol consumption is also a major concern as the procedure is for non-smokers or at least refraining from smoking for weeks before taking the injection and weeks after.

The fillers are injected subcutaneously at tiny doses and the are instantaneous. Immediately after having the injection there will be some swelling that is normal. The swelling subsides within 24hours. In case of BOTOX, the skin will feel rigid and the patient is unable to move the muscles of the treated zone to expressions like smiling or frownings that also gradually subside in 24hours.
