OAKLAND, Calif. - May 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) through its Math and Science Career Academy is partnering with the African American Museum and Library at Oakland (AAMLO) to host a Science Fiction Arts and Film Festival   The purpose of the festival is to show the intersection between science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), the arts, film and writing. The two day festival includes family friendly films, arts and crafts, film-making and storytelling. The Family Movie Night will take place on Friday, June 12, doors open at 5:45pm. The Arts and Film Workshop will take place on Saturday, June 13 from noon- 6pm.

“Science Fiction is a great way for students that have a love of STEM and the arts to explore their interest in both as well explore careers that intersect between STEM and the arts” says Ms. Tokiwa T.
