Peer Exchange on Diversity and Inclusion Taking Place May 29

NAPLES, Fla. - May 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Hodges University has partnered with The Society for Diversity to present ‘Bridging the Gap of Diversity and Inclusion through Higher Education,’ a peer exchange event to discuss this important topic. The event will be held Friday, May 29 from 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Hodges’ Naples campus.

‘It’s important that members of our community understand one another, culturally and in other ways, and it comes down to education,’ said Gail Williams, CDP, Chief Diversity Officer at Hodges University. ‘Our panelists will discuss what is happening in each institution to make a difference in our community.’

The event will include breakfast and a panel discussion hosted by Hodges president David Borofsky and moderated by The Society for Diversity president, Leah Smiley, CDE. In addition to leaders from Florida Gulf Coast University, Keiser University and Florida Southwestern State College, panelists will include representatives from outside higher education. The event is open to the public and admission is $20.
