High-end furniture buyers celebrating opening of new Roche Bobois showroom in Aventura, Florida

AVENTURA, Fla. - May 20, 2015 - PRLog -- The wait is finally over for many as Roche Bobois opens the doors to their new showroom in north Miami-Dade County.  The new, ultra-sleek, 4,500-sq.-ft. furniture, lighting and accessories gallery is located at 19907 Biscayne Boulevard (NE corner of the Aventura Blvd. intersection).  Eager luxury homeowners and interior designers in that area are now able to conveniently visit Roche Bobois to experience a first-hand look and feel of their Les Contemporains Collection as well as many of the exclusive iconic designs for which Roche Bobois is celebrated globally.  As the world’s largest designer and distributor of contemporary home furnishings, Roche Bobois has over 250 showrooms in more than 50 countries, including two other South Florida locations in North Palm Beach and Coral Gables.

“This has been one of our most eagerly anticipated showrooms mainly because of the typical resident profile in Aventura – people who are world-traveled, very sophisticated, have numerous homes here and abroad and are very familiar with exclusive, global brands such as Roche Bobois,” explained Julien Bigan, Roche Bobois’ Communications Director, U.S.

At the same time, Roche Bobois’ Patrick Cabaroc, newly named manager of the Aventura showroom added, “We have been working very hard to pull everything together in this incredible space. People have continuously been asking when they can visit, and we’re very happy to tell them the doors are now open and that they can expect the same extraordinary European styling and custom design services we offer at all our showrooms.”

The showroom was designed by acclaimed architect Jacqueline Hopfer from Roche Bobois’ corporate headquarters in Paris. Her father, Hans Hopfer, is also a member of the Roche Bobois family having designed the company’s iconic Mah Jong modular sofa, one of the company’s most celebrated designs.

In keeping with the modern, sleek look of the furniture, the showroom has imposing mirrored walls and exquisite marble flooring. A highlight of the interior design against a glistening white canvas is an entire wall with a floor-to-ceiling, fabric recreation of the clock at the Muséed'Orsay backlit by LED lighting. That same graphic, which has become a signature design element in many Roche Bobois showrooms around the world, is displayed prominently on the back wall.  The space is crowned by soaring 18-foot ceilings and features a design studio integrated with 3-D visual capabilities and other facets of Roche Bobois’ innovative “20/20” computer design application.

Roche Bobois is the only furniture designer and manufacturer to introduce four, completely new collections every year, each being a different interpretation of their Les Contemporains and Nouveaux Classiques collections.
