Park Regis Kris Kin Dubai Wins Runner Up Trophy in Inter-Hotel Football Tournament

AL BARSHA, UAE - May 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai football team won the Runner Up Trophy in the Inter-Hotel Football Tournament held at Jebel Ali football ground, Dubai, on April 18, 2015. The EMAAR Hospitality bagged the Winner’s Trophy while Jebel Ali Resorts secured third place.

It was a double delight for the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai soccer team as footballer Devendara Mahato became the Best Goalkeeper.

The annual event organised by HR Networking Dubai and facilitated by Mövenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, was attended by eight Dubai hotels. Besides Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, the other seven hotels that participated in the tournament were Mövenpick Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Shangri-La Hotel – Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana, Media One, EMAAR Hospitality and Jebel Ali Resorts, Dubai.

Scott Butcher, General Manager, Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, praised his team for demonstrating fighting spirit and winning the Runners Up trophy.

He said, “Our players were highly motivated and showcased their skills and talent in football very well. We are glad they played with a lot of passion and energy in every game and finished in the top two. Devendara Mahato showed exceptional performance and became the Best Goalkeeper.”

Butcher observed that the tournament saw an intense competition on the field between the eight participating teams, yet it was friendly and promoted teambuilding within the Dubai hotel community. The atmosphere outside the field was cordial and an opportunity for the participants to get acquainted with their fellow hoteliers and to make new friends in the industry.
