Desi Ramos Joins Compass Specialty Risk as Vice President/Transportation

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Michael R. Morman, managing director of Compass Specialty Risk Insurance Services, LLC, (also known as Compass Specialty Risk, LLC outside of California) announced that Desi Ramos has been hired as vice president/transportation practice leader and will be spearheading Compass’ office in Sacramento, California.

Ramos explained, “I’m excited to head up the transportation division of this emerging company. I’ve been fortunate to work closely with Michael in the past, and I’m happy to bring my expertise to the table and help this division and organization grow.”

Previously Ramos was head transportation broker at a regional wholesale broker in Stockton, Calif. Prior to that, Ramos spent over four years at a national wholesaler in Stockton, Calif.  Additionally Ramos established and operated a small school of English in southern Mexico. As English school director, he was responsible for overseeing school budgets and profits and teaching conversational English to the students. He is a graduate of the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor degree in political science and English.
