Business aviation embraces Avionica’s avSYNC Flight Data Analysis with Quick Access Recorders

GENEVA - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Avionica, a satellite communications equipment manufacturer known for its multiple safety certifications for airliners, has seen a surge in business aviation adopting its miniQAR MK III and 3G Wireless Module with its avSYNC software for flight data management and Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) services.

Avionica’s miniQAR MK III and 3G Wireless Module with avSYNC allows aircraft data recorded on the miniQAR to be downloaded automatically to a customer’s site using 3G Wireless transmission over the internet for FOQA. No human intervention is required. The avSYNC software is installed centrally at Avionica and at the customer’s site.

Immediate data transfer upon aircraft landing anywhere in the world is the ultimate and most valuable feature for us. Within minutes of landing, data received from the aircraft is stored on our servers. It’s safe and available to be analyzed if needed during a maintenance situation.”

Avionica also has a suite of satLINK products using the current Iridium constellation. Avionica’s lightweight and FAA certified satLINK MAX is being recognized as the ideal solution to transmit both voice and data on business jets to and from Europe that must meet the Future Air Navigation System (FANS)-1/A requirement.
