Roslindale Restaurant Offers Four-Course Prix Fixe Vegan Dinner

Every MondayDuring the Month of June

WHAT: Just in time to take advantage of the summer bounty, Shanti Restaurant will be hosting Vegan Mondays featuring a four-course prix fixe menu for $25 at its Roslindale, MA location, starting June 1st, 2015 continuing every Monday during the month of June 2015. With numerous vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options already on the menu, Shanti's Vegan Mondays caters to its large population of vegan customers who do not eat meat or dairy products.

The four-course meal begins with Bruschetta made with edamame and silken tofu spread, mustard seeds, lemon zest and spices, followed by the guest's selection of Mango Salad or Falafel Bonda for appetizers. For the main course guests can choose between Broccoli Rabe Sauteed Chinese broccoli, soy turmeric, garlic and vegetable Upma (South Indian semolina cake) or Aloo Gobi Mushroom Baby potatoes, cauliflower, bottom mushroom, and spices (served with basmati rice).To finish the evening on a sweet note, indulge in Beets Haluwa Beets, coconut milk, dates and cardamom.
