Beat Brasserie Announces Early Summer Event Schedule

June 3rd, 2015: B.B. King Tribute from 8PM to 12AM: A modern tribute to the late blues great B.B. King with an evening of food and drink specials and live performances from Sugar Ray Norcia, Brian Templeton, Monster Mike Welch, Jesse Williams, Mark Textera, Bruce Bears and more featuring creative takes on some of the singer/songwriters’ most iconic work.

June 17th, 2015: Havana Nights from 8PM to 12AM: Beat Brasserie is heating things up with Havana Nights, a Cuban night featuring an all-star band led by Grammy Award-winning artist Yaure Muniz and a special menu of Cuban-inspired cocktails and dishes.

June 24th, 2015 from 8PM to 12AM: The Soul of Nina Simone:  Raquel Quinones pays tribute to the acclaimed vocalist Nina Simone and other fine ladies of jazz accompanied by cuisine and libations. Raquel Quinones’ young talent is shaped by her bright, smooth tone and her innovative and emotional delivery of tunes ranging in style, from jazz to bolero, from soul to pop.

July 15th, 2015 from 8PM to 12AM: Beatles Tribute: A tribute to The Beatles with an evening of live performance featuring some of the group’s most iconic work. Taking the stage will be a diverse group of artists from Boston, New York City and beyond including: The Funky ABs; Rachel Quinones, leader of Amethyst Band; Bruce Ferrara, electric jazz guitarist and music director of The Beehive and Beat Brasserie; Melissa Bolling, soul vocalist, and more!

July 23rd, 2015 from 9:30PM to 1AM: The Music of Jill Scott: A Tribute to the Incomparable Jill Scott: Seasoned jazz vocalist, Liz Tobias, pays tribute to the great Jill Scott in what is sure to be a soulful evening of music.  An Australian native, Tobias draws a vast audience with her charismatic take on music old, and new.  Jill Scott is a platinum R&B artist, actress and model who has seen great success since her debut in 2000.  Fans will come for Scott and leave with Tobias on their mind.

Guests of the events are always welcome to a full dinner with selections from Executive Chef Ignacio Lopez including dishes such as Roasted Haddock with spinach, white bean puree, lemon, Za’atar spice and capers ($24), the Earth Bowl with a choice of protein, 5-Grain Pilaf, charred broccoli salad, rainbow carrots, chickpea tomato stew, arugula pesto & more ($23-27), and Niman Ranch Beef Brisket with whipped potatoes, grilled broccolini and sauce Bordelaise ($26). Guests can choose from over 36 artisanal wines on tap from The Beat’s state-of-the-art system. Many of the wines have been crafted exclusively for Beat by top small batch American winemakers such as Black Sheep Finds, Anne Amie Winery and J. Christopher.
