Launching: Digital Magazine for new Web, Mobile and Game Developers

VERNON, Conn. - May 19, 2015 - PRLog -- (Vernon, CT)- LearnToProgram Media announced today the launch of Learn To Program Magazine, a digital subscription-based magazine for new web, mobile and game developers. The first issue will launch in July. The magazine will be available through Apple’s newsstand application, Google Play, and as a stand-alone digital document.

Each edition of the magazine will include activity based tutorials that teach important development techniques. The inaugural edition of the magazine will include such instructional content on using Leaflet.js, an online mapping library, and a game development tutorial where readers will complete a mobile video game.

The magazine will also include a special section each month focusing on contributions from underrepresented populations in software development. “I think it’s important to be inclusive and show models of women and other underrepresented minorities who are succeeding as developers,” says LearnToProgram Media founder, Mark Lassoff. Los Angeles based Jasmine Powers, a digital strategist, will be writing and curating the special section.

In addition to traditional printed magazine content, the magazine will also feature interactive content including videos, code downloads and social media integration. LearnToProgram Media, the magazine’s publisher is partnering with MAZ Digital to power distribution of the magazine. Maz also distributes magazines such as Inc., Forbes and Condé Naste Traveler.
