About the Book

Inspired by Toni Morrison’s “Beloved”, Jackson unites the paranormal to very real situations and experiences. Jackson’s book follows Adrian Ramirez, a recent college graduate who has just landed his dream job teaching at the prestigious Finley Academy. Everything seems to be going well for Ramirez, but the realities of adulthood quickly manifest, and give rise to Adrian’s anxiety disorder.

When Adrian senses something wrong with two of his students, the twins Raven and Robin, he finds himself in a dark mystery with paranormal elements. It seems that Adrian’s past is linked with the current events at Finley Academy. And while the plot is certainly thrilling, it is the moral Jackson imparts that is truly haunting: be mindful of even the smallest decisions, as they could affect someone in the largest of senses.

About the Author

Chase J. Jackson is not only a novelist. The young author is also a slam poet who has used the lyrical aspect of poetry to influence his prose. After graduating from the University of West Georgia, Jackson spent his time working on his writing and other artistic endeavors.

In addition to writing, Jackson is the creator of Chase-N-Dreamz Productions, which has filmed projects ranging from an awareness film for The Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation to a short film about human trafficking in Haiti.
