Actionspace Introduces New Time Tracking and Recurring Task Scheduling for Office 365 and SharePoint

BOSTON - May 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Last week, business users of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online received enhanced time tracking and recurring task scheduling capabilities available in the latest release of Actionspace enterprise task management and simple project management app.

With Actionspace’s time tracking, managers have received an opportunity to get a more realistic idea of actual labor costs of daily tasks or projects. Besides the task assignee itself, any other team member, including manager, task observer or supervisor, can register time they spent on a task or a project, giving managers a holistic view of the time costs.  Multiple entries are also supported — they can come in handy when an employee works on one task during more than one day (e.g. one hour on Day 1 and two hours on Day 4), so he/she can register hours for each day of working on the task.

To save time on planning regular tasks such as weekly reports or monthly supply of office goods, Actionspace introduced automated scheduling of recurring tasks. “Recurring task automation is a great asset for office workers who want to save time and not to miss out on routine yet vital tasks,” noted Vale Smirnov, business development director of Actionspace.
