There is funding for all of them to encourage activity in pupils, and to set healthy behaviours for the rest of their life, and we especially want those schools with sports academy status to encourage pupils to enter. The runs are for everyone - pupils, teachers and parents can all give it a go, whatever their level of ability.” The set of 20 Activ8rlives Buddy Step Counter (http://www.activ8rlives.com/ A great incentive for the younger racers this year will be first, second and third placed in each age category will receive the Activ8rlives brand new BuddyBand 2, which is a ruggedised waterproof smartwatch accelerometer that the can be used by the winners in future training and races and uploads their activity data via Bluetooth 4.0 to the latest Apple and Android Smartphones.
