LAS VEGAS - May 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Talk Radio Personality and Social Media Expert Michelle “Roxy” Davis and Marketing Strategist Danny Vegas are bringing together two groups of people who would probably not ordinarily mix with the 702 Rox Show “Get Beyond the Hobby.” 702 Rox is a live Internet television show that airs every Thursday at 11 am on the World Center of Broadcast Media at wcobm.com.

“Roxy and I initially had our own individual shows at the WCOBM and we recently decided to collaborate and create a unique program that showcases both of our strengths,” Vegas said. “I am a Baby Boomer with a passion for marketing businesses and putting on events and Roxy is much younger and in tune with social media and tech community.The concept of our show is to educate entrepreneurs on the value of utilizing marketing and social media to take their businesses beyond just being a hobby.”

“There are so many people out there that are just doing business and we want to help them to start to earn a living at what they do.”

Davis’ role on 702 Rox is to appeal to younger business owners by keeping them up to speed on the latest innovations in technology and social media.

“I talk a lot about social media and apps on the show and I like to highlight the things that the younger people are thinking about,” she said. “I also bring simplicity to technological platforms so that Baby Boomers can implement them into their businesses and be more successful. A lot of our guests have large social media followings and they have incredible information to share that can help viewers learn how to become more effective in reaching their audiences.”

The 702 Rox Show is designed to cross the lines of age and culture to advance the cause of helping businesses thrive.

“We are combining the old and new ways of doing business,” Vegas said. “Social media has truly become a pipeline for getting the word out about what your business does and if the Baby Boomers don’t embrace it they will fall behind the businesses that are using it. My clients are finding a lot of value in the things that Roxy and I are talking about each week.”

The different levels and aspects of happiness are among themes that Davis is excited to talk about during the weekly airings of 702 Rox.

“702 Rox is a grass roots concept that has grown into something much larger and more meaningful,” she said. “How we pursue happiness and measure success is so important and the content that we share each week encourages people to never limit themselves to unlimited possibility.”
