By: FilmsVerité Production Loredo and Mars screened the film at the Plaza Theater in Atlanta, Georgia, the Carolina Crownpoint Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Quad Cinema and the Anthology Film Archives in New York City. Now, audiences can request screenings of Sorrow at the theater in their city through Tugg. Sorrow follows the story of Mila Sweeney, a forensic psychologist who is kidnapped and tortured by two deranged serial killers. However, she manages to escape and exact revenge against her captors. To request a screening, visit the Tugg official website and fill out a request form with the title of the film and a date, time and location for the screening. If enough requests are made, the theater may approve the request and will begin selling tickets on a personalized event page. However, the theater must sell enough tickets to the screening before the deadline in order to confirm the event. If the required numbers of tickets are not sold by the deadline, no purchasers will be charged and the event will be cancelled. “I was so happy to share my film with audiences in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and New York, but I would love for more people to see it,” Loredo said. “I’m hoping more horror film lovers can watch Sorrow by requesting a screening in their town.” Audiences can also order Sorrow on DVD through Barnes & Noble and Target online or on DVD or Blu-Ray on Amazon. Additionally, Sorrow is available to stream online through Amazon Prime Instant Video, will premiere on Hulu Plus and Google Play this month and is now available on Vimeo.
