Follow on Google News | The Hephaestus Project Wants You To Start A FireThe Hephaestus Project is launching their unique artisan project using crowd funding through Indiegogo. With a goal of $40,000 they are on their way to starting a fires in their community.
“Picture a group of artisan studios located within a small rural town in a visually unique area of the Canadian landscape, the resident and guest artisans all working with fire to imbue life into the elements and prepare unique creations,” says the founder of the project. “A key part of the project requires all of the artisans, as part of their commitment to the project, to mentor a youth from within the local community.” The project will include a blacksmith shop, a glass blowing shop, a pottery shop, (all art that uses fire to create works of art), along with a artisan wood worker and as an anchor an artisan distillery. “Cash flow for artisans has it ups and downs and the artisan distillery will provide not only some unique spirits but also a steady revenue source to contribute to the long term success of the project,” says the project founder. The project is already off to a good start with contributors adding their own spark to the Hephaestus fire. The Hephaestus Project has a fund raising goal of $40,000 and invites everyone to their Indiegogo site and take part in setting the world on fire. End
