New Business Aims To The Community To Bring Jobs

Henderson, NC – Locally owned Second Chance Staffing and Resource Center announced today its current fundraising efforts to kick start their nonprofit occupational business. Owners Salena Kelly and Brittany Gill have set up the “Dreams Do Come True” raffle ticket fundraiser in order to help raise the $100,000 needed to get their doors open and fully operational, and to cover any start up expenses.

Cash prizes will include:

Grand Prize winner - $500

1st Place winner - $350

2nd Place winner - $100

3rd Place winner - $50

The raffle ticket drawing and winner announcement will take place on June 1, 2015 in Compare Foods parking lot at 114 E. Andrews Ave, Henderson, NC 27536 at 5:00 p.m. The last day to purchase tickets will be May 31, 2015.

Alongside their raffle, and with the assistance of GoFundMe, Salena and Brittany have also set up a donation fund in order to reach their goal. Sharing their story or donating at minimum $1.00 will go a long way in making their vision a reality. Salena and Brittany ask that you please spread the word so they can begin helping the unemployed community of Vance County and the surrounding areas with procuring better pay, better benefits, and transportation assistance amongst other things.

Second Chance Staffing and Resource Center was founded in 2015 and is a staffing company that goes beyond the next level in providing occupational resources for Vance County and the surrounding areas (Warren, Franklin, and Granville).
