Ping Mobile Hires IDT’s Thom Jordan as its CEO

NEW YORK - May 18, 2015 - PRLog -- New York, NY—May 15, 2015—Rudolph Lowy, Chairman of Ping Mobile, today announced that Thomas Jordan, a former senior officer at IDT, is joining the team as CEO.

Thom has 20+ years experience successfully leading and managing the development, day-to-day operations and growth of new and mature technology companies. The move signifies that Ping Mobile, the leading full service mobile marketing and advertising company, is committed to providing a stellar mobile product and growing a team of mobile mastery.

Prior to joining Ping, Thom served as President at Net2Phone and other subsidiaries of IDT, a global Fortune 1000 telecommunications company (NYSE- IDT.) Among his achievements, Thom is credited with turning around and growing IDT’s Voice over IP (VoIP) business to profitability and major EBIDTA contributor.

Prior to his role at IDT, Thom served as Director of Global Services at Global Crossing (now part of Level 3 Communications), where he successfully created and lead an international team. Thom also served as Director of Provisioning at Prism Communications and has also held several management and operational positions at Verizon.

Thom currently serves as Trustee of NJ211 Partnership (www.NJ211.org), a non-profit health and human resource services information provider serving New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Thom has a dual Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from New York University-Stern.  He also has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Villanova University and is based in our New York office.
